Boston, MA – Boston University College of Fine Arts is pleased to announce that School of Theatre alumnus, Drew Levy (CFA ’03, ’04), tied for the 58th Annual Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Sound Design in a Musical for his work on Chaplin: The Musical. Drama Desk Awards, which are presented annually, honor outstanding achievement by professional theatre artists on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway.

The Drama Desk Awards were presented on Sunday, May 19 at The Town Hall NYC. Drama Desk Awards were voted on and bestowed by theatre critics, journalists, editors, and publishers covering theatre without any vested interest in the results. The 2012–2013 Drama Desk Nominating Committee was composed of Barbara Siegel, David Kaufman, Samuel L. Leiter, Martha Wade Steketee, Adrian Wattenmaker, and James Wilson.
