School of Theatre Alumnus Scott Zielinski receives award for Outstanding Lighting Design
Boston, MA – Boston University College of Fine Arts is pleased to announce that School of Theatre alumnus Scott Zielinski (CFA ’87) received the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lighting Design for his work on A Civil War Christmas. The Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway recognize excellence Off-Broadway by honoring the invaluable contribution of artists to the theatre community.

The 28th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were announced on May 5, 2013, at the NYU Skirball Center. Representatives of the Off-Broadway League, Actors’ Equity Association, Stage Directors & Choreographers Society, the Lucille Lortel Foundation, in addition to theatre journalists, academics, and other Off-Broadway professionals serve on the voting committee.
